STEM Resources

  • The National Science Digital Library is the nation's online library for education and research in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics.
  • The Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL) promotes the development of a national faculty in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) committed to implementing and advancing effective teaching practices for diverse student audiences as part of their professional careers.
  • ExploreLearning offers a catalog of modular, interactive simulations in math and science for teachers and students in grades 6-12 and college developmental math. These simulations are called Gizmos.
  • Mathematics Software: Arizona Mathematical Software (University of Arizona) has a wide variety of free commercial quality math software that can be used with students studying algebra, calculus, and differential equations. Rather than create one massive comprehensive package that would take weeks of class time to learn, we decided to write many small packages. Each of these packages is designed to do one thing very well, and be used effectively with no, or minimal, training.
