The Journal of Effective Teaching

The Journal of Effective Teaching, a peer reviewed electronic journal devoted to the discussion of teaching excellence in colleges and universities. The Journal of Effective Teaching will publish two regular issues per year and possibly a special issue on a current topic. The regular issues will contain articles in two broad Content Areas: effective teaching and the scholarship of teaching. We invite contributors to share their insights in pedagogy, innovations in teaching and learning, and classroom experiences in the form of a scholarly communication. Exchanges

The California State University's Institute for Teaching and Learning (ITL) created Exchanges, the CSU's on-line journal of teaching and learning. This online journal provides a forum for CSU faculty members to publish their scholarship of teaching projects, as well as their experiences, viewpoints, reviews, questions, and creative works related to teaching and learning. All submissions are reviewed by editors, and, in addition, all research articles are double-blind peer-reviewed.

Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration

The Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration is a peer-reviewed electronic journal offered free each quarter over the World Wide Web. The journal welcomes manuscripts based on original work of practitioners and researchers with specific focus or implications for the management of distance education programs.

Park University Insight

InSight is a refereed journal published annually by CETL that features theoretical and empirically-based research articles, critical reflection pieces, case studies and classroom innovations relevant to teaching, learning and assessment. Unique from many discipline-based and teaching-oriented journals, InSight focuses each edition on a specific topic or theme relevant to current trends in higher education.

Journal for Computing Teachers

The Journal for Computing Teachers is a project of the ISTE's SIG for Computing Teachers (SIGCT). The Journal of Computing in Education is a K-12 oriented online periodical where the emphasis is on teaching about computing. Submissions are either editor reviewed or peer reviewed. The author decides which one.

Submission topics include but are not limited to:

• Academic and research articles relating to the teaching of computing in K-12 education
• Pedagogical articles describing and explaining the rationale for some teaching practice, approach, or lesson
• Theoretical articles explaining or arguing particular principles or models of learning, teaching, curriculum development, content perspective-taking, etc.
• Explanatory articles providing teachers with professional development information (e.g., understanding hardware and software, conceptual understanding, etc.)
• Reports concerning computing (e.g., curriculum and policy recommendations)
